Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers Manufacturers

Our Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs), commonly referred to as bulk bags, FIBC totes, or FIBC bulk container bags, are engineered and manufactured to meet your exact specifications. As a trusted FIBC manufacturer, we provide fully customized solutions for a wide range of industries across global markets.

Every FIBC can be tailored to accommodate your specific requirements for handling, filling, discharging, transportation, and storage.

Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container Types

FIBCs are recognized as one of the most efficient and cost-effective packaging solutions for storing and transporting bulk materials, including powders, granules, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, minerals, and agricultural products.

Because each material has different characteristics, from particle size to ignition sensitivity, selecting the correct bag type is essential for ensuring operational safety and product integrity.
To support clients in diverse industries, we supply all four FIBC electrostatic classifications: Type A, Type B, Type C, and Type D.
Each type is designed with different static-control properties and grounding requirements to protect users, facilities, and the environment.

01.

Type A FIBCs (No Electrostatic Protection)

Type A bags are manufactured from standard woven polypropylene without any features for controlling static electricity. They are suitable for general-purpose applications where no flammable atmosphere or combustible dust is present

Appropriate for:

  • Non-hazardous materials
  • General storage, handling, and transportation
  • Industries where electrostatic hazards do not exist

Not suitable for:

  • Environments with combustible dust or flammable vapors
  • Areas with minimum ignition energy (MIE) < 1,000 mJ
  • Handling flammable or explosive materials

Note: Type A bags must never be used in environments with any risk of electrostatic ignition.

02.

02. Type B FIBCs

Type B bags are similar to Type A but are made from materials with a low breakdown voltage, which helps prevent propagating brush discharges, one of the most hazardous forms of electrostatic discharge in powder-handling operations.

However, Type B bags do not dissipate static electricity, so they are not classified as antistatic bags.

Appropriate for:

  • Handling dry, combustible powders
  • Dust environments with MIE < 3 mJ
  • Operations without the presence of flammable gases or vapors

Not suitable for:

  • General hazardous materials requiring static dissipation
  • Environments with flammable gas, vapor, or conductive dust

Note: Type B is a safer upgrade from Type A but still unsuitable for electrostatically sensitive environments.

03.

Type C FIBCs (Conductive & Groundable Bags)

Type C bags are engineered using a woven grid of insulating polypropylene yarns combined with conductive yarns. This structure allows static electricity to safely dissipate only when the bag is properly grounded.

Grounding is a mandatory requirement for safe operation.

Appropriate for:

  • Facilities with combustible dust
  • Operations involving flammable gases or vapors
  • Transporting flammable powders

Do NOT use Type C if:

  • Grounding cannot be guaranteed
  • The bag or grounding connection is damaged
  • There is resistance or poor continuity to the grounding point
  • The environment has MIE < 1,000 mJ (without proper control measures)

Note: Type C offers excellent protection — provided grounding procedures are followed strictly.

04.

Type D FIBCs (Static-Dissipative / CROHMIQ)

Type D bags are made from CROHMIQ static-dissipative fabric, designed to safely dissipate static charges into the atmosphere without requiring grounding. They prevent all hazardous discharge types, including:

  • Propagating brush discharges
  • Brush discharges
  • Incendiary sparks

This eliminates grounding-related risks such as improper connection, resistance failures, or operator error.

Appropriate for:

  • Environments with combustible dusts
  • Areas with flammable gases, vapors, or solvents
  • Handling or transporting flammable powders

Not suitable for:

  • Situations where the bag surface becomes contaminated with conductive materials
(e.g., oils, greases, metallic dust, or flammable residues)

Note: Type D is the safest and most user-friendly option when grounding cannot be controlled reliably.
